I am interested in developing and utilizing statistical methodology for estimating the genetic architecture of quantitative traits.
I have been focusing on developing statistical methods to map for QTL underlying the quantitative traits and to investigate the QTL mapping properties in various experimental populations using the MIM (multiple interval mapping) approach.
Recently, I work on developing a statistical framework for QTL hotspot detection that intends to explore the networks among the expressivity of genes, QTL hotspots and quantitative traits for the organisms in biological studies.
