Abstract

DNA array experiments are novel biotechnologies that have been used increasingly in biological and medical research. The mass of data generated from a typical DNA array experiment raises numerous statistical and computational challenges. This talk will discuss the issues of experimental design, normalization, and significance testing in identifying differentially expressed genes for the analysis of cDNA microarray data.
