Accelerated Failure Time Model, Biodemograpghy and Theory of Ageing

Abstract

Several biological issues related to biodemography and theory of ageing are discussed based on accelerated failure time model (AFTM). Since with AFTM, age- specific mortality and fecundity are connected to describe a way of trade-off relation. The demography and theory of ageing based on life-table will then be examined and compared with the individual based biodemography proposed resting on the "new" trade-off relation in a separated report of mine.
