Global Nutrition Health in Developing Countries: My experience of a nationwide research and of a child nutrition program

Abstract

Being an emerging public health professional, I have solid nutrition training from past work and academic experience. To fully take advantage of experience in research, INGO, clinics, and community outreaches, I have been providing nutrition and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) support to address nutrition issues among vulnerable populations by engaging in design, implementation and evaluation phases of evidence-based interventions. In this talk, I will share a field research experience of nationwide micronutrient research with Harvard School of Public Health and an evidence-based nutrition intervention program addressing acute malnutrition.
