I will provide an overview of my research since the last review for promotion, with major highlights on degradation analysis and optimal test plans. Some stochastic processes for degradation analysis and the challenges associated with (accelerated) testing plans will be discussed. The developed degradation models and theoretical properties bring the engineering and the statistical communities closer to addressing real-world problems with a solid foundation. Furthermore, I will briefly share my current and future research projects during this talk.
