Abstract

This presentation explores the application of exploratory data analysis on Argo data (https://argo.ucsd.edu/), focusing on the extraction of vertical profile data from Argo floats. It covers the use of real-time and delayed-mode files for obtaining accurate oceanographic measurements, including temperature and salinity, and emphasizes the importance of quality control flags and adjustments for scientific accuracy. This presentation aims to highlight the potential of Argo data in enhancing our understanding of ocean dynamics.
