Abstract
Smart health is a key priority for national development. The “Smart Health Research Group,” supported by the Academia Sinica’s Type 3 Task-based Research Programs, is dedicated to advancing technologies and products that integrate smart health solutions. The group’s research focuses on four primary objectives: (1) Precision Health, which integrates large-scale genomic data, electronic health records, behavioral data, and environmental exposures; (2) Smart Health, which combines innovative smart technologies with precision health research and practical product implementation; (3) Infectious Disease & Viral Research, focusing on emerging infectious diseases such as COVID-19 and Mpox, alongside viral genome analysis; and (4) Generative AI in Health, exploring the use of generative AI techniques to support and enhance clinical applications. In this talk, we will provide an overview of the project’s goals and highlight key achievements to date. We also invite collaboration to further advance the fields of precision and smart health.
