Abstract

In contemporary biomedical research, the precise identification and design of therapeutic molecules from vast biological datasets represent a fundamental challenge. This seminar explores how bioinformatics serves as a critical bridge, integrating computational science and experimental biology to drive the intelligent transformation of drug discovery.

The presentation will cover innovative applications in precision medicine, examining the development of personalized therapeutic strategies. We will then discuss the potential of generative computational models in biomolecular design and functional prediction, while reviewing current industrial milestones in R&D optimization. Finally, the seminar will look toward future directions, discussing new paradigms emerging from agentic AI and autonomous research systems, while offering perspectives for students navigating interdisciplinary research and career paths in this rapidly evolving landscape.
